Where to Play Disc Golf in the Australian Capital Territory
The ACT keeps it compact, but there's quality disc golf right across Canberra. You'll find historic Eddison Park, running since 1997 and one of the country's oldest courses, through to Weston Park's big 27-basket layout. Here's where to play around the capital.

Course Notes: A compact 5-basket school course, played as a 10-hole loop. The concrete tees are on the small side. Park in the high school's main carpark. No restrooms on site. Dogs welcome.
Access Note: On school grounds, so it's only open outside school hours (9:00am to 3:30pm) and during school and public holidays.
Eddison Park Disc Golf Course

Course Notes: The ACT's original course, established in 1997, and one of Australia's oldest. A full 18-basket layout with a mix of open and technical shots through mature parkland, and some tee shots over water. Park at the skatepark end to start at hole 1, or use the cemetery carpark and start at hole 9 if it's busy. Drinking water and restrooms available, and dogs are welcome.
Gold Creek School Disc Golf Course

Course Notes: A school-based course in Canberra's north with RAD Ace baskets and dual tees for 18 holes. Beginner-friendly but with a few interesting challenges for experienced players too. No drinking water or restrooms. Dogs welcome on a lead.
Access Note: On school grounds, so it's only open outside school hours (8:30am to 3:30pm) and during school and public holidays. Recent UDisc reviews report that holes 6 to 8 have been damaged by construction, so check UDisc before you head out.
John Knight Memorial Disc Golf Course

Course Notes: Canberra's largest course, with 27 baskets in a picturesque lakeside park, from open fairways to technical wooded holes. The lake is hungry for discs, so take care near the water. Drinking water and restrooms available, and dogs are welcome.
Access Note: The course is being reworked for the 2026 Australian Disc Golf Championships, so some holes may not be playable and recent reviews report missing baskets. Check UDisc for the current layout before you go.
